Construction

This Sauna heater is constructed with Stainless Steel inside and out! To back our quality construction is a 5 year warranty on the heater and 2 years on the controls. It has a very deep and large sauna rock chamber, and uses three separate heating elements directly in the sauna rock chamber! Lesser quality sauna heaters keep the heating elements separate from the rocks, so the rocks sit in a separate chamber above the heating elements. Our Sauna heaters allow the rocks to sit down between the heating elements and subsequently come in direct contact with all three heating elements! This means that your heat is diverted DIRECTLY to the rocks, keeping them hotter longer and allowing you to put as much water on them as you'd like without losing all your heat! And speaking of rocks, this Sauna heater can hold 80, yes EIGHTY pounds of Sauna Rocks! One of the largest capacities of any heater! Is that important? Very! Read on to see why.


The Rocks

The imported Vulcanite Igneous Sauna rocks are very dense and have almost no air pockets. A smooth river rock, or other sedimentary rocks will crack and crumble from repeated heating and cooling. The included highly dense Sauna rocks fit way down in the heater, in direct contact with the heating elements. The direct rock-to-element contact causes the elements to heat the rocks but the rocks actually heat the room. This system provides a very soft, even heat. Plenty of water can be used on the hot rocks for that "thermal blast" as often as desired. You can even add some imported birch, pine, or eucalyptus oil to the water bucket for a wonderful fragrance added to your Sauna experience. Because of the HUGE rock capacity, no water makes it through the heater. Instead, it all goes up in steam!


Sauna Heater Controls

On one side of the heater, there is a thermostat and a 9 hour delay timer. The thermostat lets you choose the temperature you want in the most convenient way possible. While most sauna heaters simply shut off when the room reaches your desired temperature, we go on BIG step further. Our "Soft Heat" system works like this:


"Soft Heat"

When the heater is first turned on, you get the full 8000 watts of heat output power to get the Sauna up to temperature FAST. As the temperature approaches your set temperature, this smart heater will actually reduce its output to about 5300 watts. When it gets really close to the temperature you want, it drops down to around 2600 watts. That's just enough output to keep the rocks nice the hot and ready for water to be poured on, and it helps "hold" the room temperature that you desire. Other heaters are either 100% on, or 100% off, leading to sparatic Sauna temperatures. Our Sauna Heaters maintain a nice, steady, consistant temperature the whole time you use it. Very nice!

Also included is a special timer. Again, while most Sauna heaters include a 60 minute timer, we take that extra step and include a 9 hour delay timer! This means you can set the Sauna heater to turn on up to 9 hours in advance! Here's how it works: Lets say its 11:00pm, and you want to jump in the sauna before work the next day, at 6:30am. You can set the heater to stay off for about 7 hours, then automatically turn itself on before you wake up! When you enter the Sauna at 6:30am, it will be nice and hot and ready to go. nless you choose otherwise, the heater will keep the room at your chosen temperature via our "Soft Heat" system for one hour, then shut off.
